Bank of America Stadium allows clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags no larger than 12 x 6 x 12 inches, and it allows purses, bags, clutches or fanny packs up to 4.5 x 6.5 inches in any material. The bag policy page publishes both limits, and the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC repeat the same wording for their own events. Bags inside the 4.5 x 6.5-inch limit do not have to be clear, because the prohibited list bars non-transparent purses only above that size.
The stadium joins the clear bag and the small bag with the word "or" and states no number of bags per person. If you plan to carry both a clear bag and a small bag, confirm with the stadium before game day.
The Bank of America Stadium purse policy uses the same small bag limit. A purse, clutch or fanny pack up to 4.5 x 6.5 inches can be any material. A larger purse must be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC within 12 x 6 x 12 inches. The stadium's clear bag page lists fanny packs in the same 4.5 x 6.5-inch small bag category.

The same guide says all three gates are open to every fan regardless of seat location.

Every allowed bag is inspected at bag check locations before entry, and at Bank of America Stadium, bag check means the inspection point at the entrance, not a place to leave a bag. Fans carrying a bag use the lanes on the far right or far left at the North Gate and the Blue Cross NC East Gate, and the lane on the far right at the South Gate.
The stadium Fan Guide tells fans without a bag to "proceed to the middle of any gate." The Panthers clear bag page adds, "Fans are encouraged not to bring any bags or items that need inspection."
