The Dodger Stadium bag policy allows clear plastic bags up to 12 x 12 x 6 inches and non-clear wristlets or clutches up to 5 x 8 x 2 inches. Adult diaper bags and diaper bags accompanying infants are also permitted. All bags are subject to search.

Dodger Stadium bag rules at a glance:
- Clear bags: Up to 12 x 12 x 6 inches.
- Non-clear clutches: Up to 5 x 8 x 2 inches.
- Diaper bags: Adult diaper bags and bags accompanying infants are permitted.
- Bag storage: $15 per bag, in trucks in Lots H and N.
- Gates open: About 2 hours before first pitch
- Re-entry: Leaving the stadium means you cannot return.
Dodger Stadium now appears as UNIQLO Field at Dodger Stadium on the Los Angeles Dodgers' website. The bag policy in this guide applies under both names.
What bags are allowed at Dodger Stadium?
Dodger Stadium’s ballpark guide lists 2 everyday bag options: a clear plastic bag or a small non-clear wristlet or clutch. Each has its own size limit, so a small purse doesn’t automatically qualify just because it fits inside the clear-bag dimensions.
The 2-inch depth matters for a clutch. A bag can match the front dimensions and still be too thick once you’ve packed it. Check the filled bag before you leave, especially if it has an expanding base or bulky outer pockets.
Our clear bag size guide explains how the 12 x 12 x 6-inch limit compares with smaller clutch limits.
To check your bag at home:
-
Pack what you plan to bring.
-
Measure the bag’s height, width and depth, including any bulging pockets.
-
Compare all 3 measurements with the relevant limit, or check them with our Bag Size Checker.” Your content plan notes the tool has no links from the site yet.

The detailed guide uses maximum dimensions, while the fan safety page says bags should be smaller than those dimensions. The same page compares the 5 x 8 x 2-inch clutch limit to half a sheet of paper. Choosing a bag a little below the limits gives you room for changes in shape when packed.
The published pages do not specify a per-person bag count. If you want to carry both a clear bag and a clutch, confirm that arrangement with Fan Services before your visit.
Which bags are not allowed at Dodger Stadium?
You can bring a clear plastic bag up to 12 x 12 x 6 inches or a non-clear wristlet or clutch up to 5 x 8 x 2 inches into Dodger Stadium. Backpacks, beach bags, large purses and hard-sided or soft-sided coolers are not allowed.
Leave these general-use bags out of your game-day packing:
-
Standard backpacks.
-
Beach bags.
-
Large non-clear purses.
-
Hard-sided and soft-sided coolers.
-
Suitcases.

Clear backpacks need extra caution. The written policy lists backpacks as prohibited and does not expressly make an exception for clear versions. A clear plastic tote within the size limit avoids that uncertainty.
The guide also does not specifically list non-clear fanny packs or belt bags among its permitted options. If that’s your preferred bag, ask Fan Services about the style and measurements before bringing it.
Dodger Stadium bag policy exceptions: diaper bags and medical needs
Dodger Stadium permits adult diaper bags and diaper bags accompanying infants. Both remain subject to search, so allow time for staff to inspect them at entry. The ballpark guide lists no size limit for either bag.
The infant accompaniment requirement matters. The published exception covers a diaper bag brought with an infant, rather than a general-purpose bag used by someone attending without one.
For other medical supplies, equipment or a breast pump, contact Fan Services at 866-DODGERS, extension 7, before your visit. The stadium publishes an accommodation process for guests with disabilities, but its bag section does not give a separate medical-bag size allowance.
Fan Services answers that line Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. On game day, the Dodger Hotline at (323) 224-2611 runs from 2 hours before the game until 1 hour after the final out. Nursing parents who want a private space can use the nursing lounges in center field under the Left Pavilion and on the Right Reserve level next to Section 32.
Does the Dodger bag policy change for concerts and special events?
The Dodgers’ ballpark guide gives one bag policy and does not list separate bag rules for concerts or special events. As of October 20, 2026, the Dodgers’ concerts and events page lists Movie Night on November 28, Field Day on November 29 and Upper Deck Golf on December 4 to 6, 2026, with no bag rules. Check your event’s ticket page before you pack.
The Lot H and Lot N lockers run for Dodgers home games and select special events, according to the ballpark guide. Ask whether storage will operate before you bring a large bag to a non-baseball event. For other Los Angeles venues, see our SoFi Stadium bag policy guide and BMO Stadium bag policy guide.
What happens if your bag doesn’t meet the Dodger Stadium bag policy?
Dodger Stadium lists 2 on-site bag storage trucks for guests whose bags fall outside the policy. One is in Lot H and the other is in Lot N, with a flat fee of $15 per bag. These locations and the fee appear in the ballpark guide’s bag section.

Returning the bag to your car before entering is another option if you drove. If you arrive by bus or rideshare, plan where you’ll leave a larger bag before joining the entry line.
The lockers open when the parking auto gates open, about 2.5 hours before the game. You must collect your belongings no later than 60 minutes after the game ends. For a bag left past that deadline, the ballpark guide says to email the locker provider at hello@themobilelockerco.com.
Deal with storage before you enter. Dodger Stadium does not permit re-entry, so you cannot leave during the game to retrieve something and then return.
What else can you bring into Dodger Stadium?
Dodger Stadium’s food, bottle and camera rules permit outside food, certain non-alcoholic drinks and personal-use cameras with restrictions. A bag that meets the size limit does not make every item inside it permissible.
Outside food
Dodger Stadium allows outside food when it is carried in a clear bag no larger than 12 x 12 x 6 inches. Glass containers, cans, coolers and thermoses are not permitted for carrying it.
There is a separate restriction for stadium suites: outside food and beverages cannot be brought into the suites. Keep that in mind before packing snacks for a suite visit.
Water bottles and other non-alcoholic drinks
Dodger Stadium allows factory-sealed plastic bottles of non-alcoholic beverages measuring 1 liter or less. The factory seal must be intact.
Refillable water bottles are also permitted if they meet all 3 conditions:
-
Capacity of 1 liter or less.
-
Empty when you enter.
-
No glass components.
Check the capacity printed on your reusable bottle. A 40-ounce bottle exceeds the 1-liter limit, even when empty.

Cameras and rain gear
Dodger Stadium permits still and video cameras for personal use, but camera lenses cannot exceed 6 inches in length. Professional photographic equipment, tripods and monopods are prohibited, and the guide prohibits photographing or recording game action.
Umbrellas are also on the prohibited-items list. Leave yours at home when packing for the game.

Dodger Stadium bag policy FAQ
What is the Dodger Stadium bag policy for purses?
Dodger Stadium permits non-clear wristlets and clutches within the 5 x 8 x 2-inch limit. Large purses are prohibited. Measure your bag with its contents inside, since an expanding base or filled pocket can push it beyond the depth limit.
Can you bring a clear backpack to Dodger Stadium?
Dodger Stadium expressly permits clear plastic bags within its size limit, but the published guide also lists backpacks as prohibited. It does not specifically address clear backpacks. Choose a clear tote or contact Fan Services about your backpack before making it part of your game-day plans.
Are fanny packs allowed at Dodger Stadium?
Dodger Stadium's permitted non-clear categories are wristlets and clutches up to 5 x 8 x 2 inches. The guide does not expressly name fanny packs or belt bags. Ask Fan Services about your particular bag rather than assuming its small size settles the question.
Can you bring a clear bag and a clutch to Dodger Stadium?
Dodger Stadium lists both clear bags and small non-clear clutches as permitted categories, but its published pages do not specify a per-person allowance. Confirm with Fan Services if you plan to bring both. Each bag still needs to meet its applicable size limit.
Does Dodger Stadium have lockers for bags?
Dodger Stadium has bag storage trucks with lockers in Lot H and Lot N, at a flat $15 per bag. The lockers open with the parking auto gates and run for Dodgers home games and select special events. Collect your bag no later than 60 minutes after the game ends, because re-entry is not allowed.
How we checked this guide
We checked the Dodgers bag policy against the Los Angeles Dodgers’ ballpark guide, fan safety page and concerts and events page on October 20, 2026. Our review focused on bag dimensions, exceptions, storage and the rules for other items you may bring. We re-check the venue policies in our guides every week and update a guide when a venue changes its rules.
